In just under a year, SHRM successfully migrated and executed seven conferences on the RainFocus platform. Transitioning to RainFocus instantly provided the team with cleaner analytics for easier reporting and actionable follow-up. With the help of their RainFocus support team, SHRM mapped complex customer data from NetSuite into RainFocus, ensuring accurate data across all event experiences.

On-Site Successes
RainFocus also provided SHRM with a full set of tools to streamline their on-site experience. Switching to RainFocus’ check-in kiosks resulted in shorter wait times. For example, wait times at the largest conference dropped from 15 minutes to just five minutes. RainFocus’ session-scanning devices provided more accurate session data, allowing SHRM to track member attendance and behaviors. Meanwhile, RainFocus’ attendee portal made on-site navigation and engagement easier for attendees throughout each conference.
Tailoring Experiences for Different Member Groups
With RainFocus, SHRM can fully customize registration and session access for different attendee types or membership groups. Now, the team can personalize experiences, allow specific groups to self-register upon invitation to an event, and ultimately drive greater attendee satisfaction across events. This ability is particularly important for associations, given their member-centric business.
